We build a bot that answers for itself.
Zynthera sells access to a strategy that trades on its own. You choose how much capital to give it and how many positions to run — and every order it raises arrives with the reason it raised it.

Why we started
Our founders spent years on an execution desk watching retail clients pay monthly for trading signals that nobody could explain — not the seller, and certainly not the buyer. The signal arrived, the money moved, and when it went wrong there was no answer beyond “the market.”
Zynthera was built on the opposite premise. A strategy publishes the rules it trades by. Every order carries the condition that fired it and how confident the model was. When a bot loses money, you can read exactly what it was trying to do — which is the least a product should offer when it is trading on your behalf.
The bot publishes its range, its daily rate and its term up front, and none of them change once a position is open. A customer should be able to read what they are agreeing to in one screen, before they commit a peso.
How we work
No strategy holds customer capital until it has completed 90 live-signal paper trades. Zynthera ran five in parallel; only Alpha survived that process across every regime it was tested against, which is why it is the only one left. It is sized by a risk budget rather than by conviction, and a dedicated hedge overlay holds its book beta inside a stated band so customers are paid for the edge rather than for the direction of the market.
There is no order ticket anywhere in the product. If the customer is picking the trades, they are not buying a bot — they are buying a chart.
Company timeline
- March 2024
Zynthera is founded in Taguig
Two engineers leave an execution desk after watching retail clients pay for signals nobody could explain. The first strategy runs on paper the same month.
- November 2024
Momentum-α clears the paper gate
The first bot completes 90 live-signal paper trades and is granted capital. The 90-trade rule has applied to every bot since.
- June 2025
Seed round closes
₱340M led by Meridian Ventures, with Tanglin Capital and Foundry Southeast Asia. The money goes to research staff and colocation.
- February 2026
Peso accounts open
Zynthera stops quoting in dollars. Every balance, fee and fill is denominated in pesos, so a Filipino buyer stops doing FX arithmetic in their head.
- September 2026
Five strategies become one
After a year running five separate sleeves, every allocator's capital moves onto Alpha — the only one that held its numbers up in every regime tested, and the only one Zynthera sells access to now.
The team
Spent six years building execution systems for a regional bank's markets desk. Started Zynthera after being unable to explain, to his own family, what a signals subscription they had bought actually did.
Low-latency infrastructure engineer. Wrote the order router and the rule that no strategy ships without a machine-readable reason attached to every order it raises.
Former quantitative researcher at a Singapore proprietary trading firm. Owns the walk-forward process and has retired more strategies than he has launched, which he considers the point.
Twelve years in market risk across two prime brokers. Holds the only override that can flatten the book, and is the reason the guardrails are checked before an order leaves rather than after.
Built payments infrastructure before crypto. Responsible for the parts of the product a customer never sees working correctly, and notices immediately when they do not.
